Governor of Jakarta Joko Widodo aka Jokowi called a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Fumio Kishida, at Jakarta City Hall on Tuesday, 12 August 2014 Various matters discussed in the meeting that lasted about 30 minutes.
According to Jokowi, one of which is discussed is the question of Law Number 4 Year 2009 on Mineral and Coal mining which start taking effect this year. Fumio requested that the issue be discussed again, especially in terms of export ban on raw mining products.
But Jokowi confirms that it will remain governed by the constitution. "We will stick to the Law. Just the technique how the law will be implemented will be discussed again with Japan," said Jokowi.
